
KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State University’s online programmes have been named to U.S. News & World Report’s “2023 Best Online Programmes” and “2023 Best Online Programmes for Veterans” lists, which were released today.
Kennesaw State University had the highest ranked graduate degree programmes in computer information technology and engineering among Georgia universities. Nursing, business administration, and education programmes at Kennesaw State were also ranked.
The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) programme at KSU’s College of Computing and Software Engineering rose to No. 25 in the overall rankings and was the top institution in Georgia. In addition, this degree programme was the only one in Georgia to receive a top 12 ranking in the national rankings for veterans’ programmes.
In engineering, Kennesaw State’s Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology ranked No. 82 nationally, while also being named the highest ranked Georgia institution for online graduate programmes.
Kennesaw State’s online MBA programme for veterans was ranked 68th in the nation and 102nd overall. The Bagwell College of Education’s online master’s degree programmes ranked 89th overall, while the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services’ graduate nursing programmes ranked 124th.
There are 25 fully online master’s degree programmes, 17 bachelor’s degree programmes, three specialist degree programmes, and three doctoral degree programmes available at the University.
The U.S. News rankings assess degree-granting online programmes at regionally accredited institutions that are delivered entirely online. The 2023 rankings, now in their 12th year, evaluated over 1,700 online degree programmes at colleges and universities across the country.
